Fam is a private photo-sharing app for families and close friends. This policy explains what Fam stores and why.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, and the email address Apple shares when you Sign in with Apple (this may be a private relay address). We store an identifier from Apple so you can sign in again.
• Content you share: photos, captions, comments and reactions, and the Fams (groups) you create or join.
• Device details for notifications: a push token, your time zone (so we never notify you overnight) and the app version.

Photos are resized and have location and camera details removed on your phone before upload.

How it's used

Only to run Fam: showing your moments to the members of the Fams you choose, and sending the notifications you've enabled. We don't sell data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites. There are no third-party analytics.

Who can see your content

Only current members of the Fams a moment was shared with. Invitation links let someone join a Fam; you can leave or remove a Fam at any time.

Where it's stored

On our servers (hosted by Railway) and private cloud storage. Photos are only reachable through short-lived signed links.

Deleting your data

In the app, go to You → Delete account. This removes your moments, photos, comments, reactions, memberships and devices. You can also email us to ask for deletion.

Children

Fam is not directed at children under 13.
